San Marcos, CA
You know.
That one place w/ the Cal State.
Two drive-thru starbucks.
A big 21 screen Edwards Cinema.
Restaraunt row. Fine dining that doesn't discriminate.
Many furniture stores.
A boba place.
A filipino depot an' a filipino fast food place.
An' cows. Lots of cows. The new high school they're building there's gettin' built on what used to be the ol' dairy. Next to even more cows.
Some of my teachers in high school used to complain 'bout having to avoid cows while driving to school.
Those were the days huh?
Spent many years growing up in San Marcos. A good 13-14 years.
It's amazing to see how many things change over that span of time. We were one of the first five families to move into Paloma. I remember when we first moved into our house, it was surrounded by nothing but hills w/ dirt. The only thing we could do for fun was eat an' go bowling. Saw more wildlife running around (roadrunners an' coyotes, no ACME products). Had no parks to play in. Wore my shorts really high.
[Ed. note: My neighborhood's called Paloma, NOT Santa Fe hills. Don't care what the new home developers think. I moved into Paloma]
*sigh*
Got alot of childhood memories.
Sorta completely forgot what the point was to this post. Oh well, too lazy to come up w/ a post that makes more sense.
Need to worry 'bout finals too.
_______, good fun. Think you've got something that merits bein' added to my list of good fun? Send it my way.
